TELESPECTOR zCamTM 181 CONFINED AREA POLE CAMERA INSPECTION SYSTEM
Inspecting confined spaces and other areas with limited access, whether above or below ground, is now practical and convenient with the introduction of Telespector’s zCamTM 181 Confined Area Inspection System. The system includes a lightweight video camera and lighthead assembly, a wearable control unit, a power unit, a 5.6” LCD monitor with sun shield, and an extendible, non-conductive fiberglass pole. It is simple to set up and requires one person to operate.
Telespector zCamTM 181 Features
The video camera features a superb high resolution, low light, color image sensor behind an equally superb 18:1 optical zoom lens. A 4x digital zoom brings the total zoom ratio to 72:1. Lighting is provided by two powerful halogen lamps; a 6000 candlepower spot lamp illuminates distant objects in pipelines from 6” in diameter and up and a 1300 candlepower flood lamp illuminates large areas at a close distance.
Telespector zCamTM 181 Control Unit
The zCamTM wearable control unit is designed for easy and efficient operation. Three switches control all camera and lighthead functions. The small lightweight unit includes a belt clip and protective switch guards.
Telespector zCamTM 181 Power Unit
The zCamTM power unit includes a maintenance-free gel cell battery and automatic charger housed in a rugged carrying case. The power unit is equipped with a DC voltage regulator that maintains a constant voltage to the camera and lighthead as the battery discharges, assuring optimum light output and image quality. The power unit also serves as a convenient connecting point for the entire system and includes auxiliary DC power and video outlets.
Telespector zCamTM 181 Camera Head Assembly
The camera head assembly is connected to the fiberglass pole with a unique adjustable clamp and swivel connector that holds the camera head at various angles and elevations relative to the pole end. This feature allows the pole end to rest on a solid surface, minimizing operator fatigue while providing image stabilization. The camera head assembly is protected by stainless steel guards and is equipped with a schrader valve for pressure testing.
