Piranha Hose Products sewer hoses are constructed from materials selected to provide rugged and reliable service under even the most severe and demanding conditions found in high pressure sewer cleaning.

Every Piranha Hose Products sewer cleaning hose is constructed with a polyolefin tube which provides maximum resistance to the hydrolysis commonly associated with other thermoplastic tube materials.  Reinforcement with high tensile polyester fiber contributes to an exceptionally low volumetric expansion rate and eliminates loss of strength from moisture absorption.

A polyether-urethane cover provides exceptional cut, abrasion, and fungus resistance.  In addition, all components are bonded together to maximize fitting retention and wear resistance, and to provide smaller minimum bend radii.

In accordance with WASTEC specifications, Piranha Hose Products offers yellow color-coded hose inner tube, fittings, menders, and assembly equipment and tooling.  (The Waste Equipment Technology Association, or WASTEC for short, was formerly known as Waste Equipment Manufacturers Institute, or “WEMI.”)

In addition, the cover colors used on Piranha Hose Products sewer hoses conform to industry standards for maximum operating pressure ratings as follows:

• Orange = 2500 psi
• Blue = 3000 psi
• Safety Green = 4000 psi

For safety assurance, all Piranha factory assembled hose reels and bulk hose are 100% pressure tested before shipping.
